The NextStation Turbo
I got gifted a NeXT Station Turbo Machine below is a few photo’s of the progress so far.
This is how the unit came to me No cable or Keyboard. The NextStation Turbo and Next printer.
Ready for the Re-cap and new battery.
Recap done and new battery added. Hard drive was dead so lucky I had a spare SCSI2SD to install.
Loaded it up with NextStep 3.3 Image.
First boot and shows the MC68040 at 33Mhz with 24MB RAM. And found the SCSI Disk ok.
Came with NO cables so I had to make up a custom cable for the NextStation to the Monitor that supply’s power and sound plus the keyboard. Lucky it takes a Apple ADB connector for the keyboard and mouse.
Formatted a floppy disk and plugged in the printer. But as the printer did not come with the incert tray could not load any paper but it did see the Next printer.
